Manhunt launched after man stabbed in UK car park | UK | News

One person was injured after a stabbing report. Officers were called to Rochdale Road in Royton at 2.49am today (Sunday, July 5).
A 29-year-old man suffered injuries “consistent with a stab wound.” Manchester Police said his injuries were not life-threatening. Police officers were seen investigating on Rochdale Road on Sunday morning. A cordon was seen forming in the car park outside the Co-op and Hays Travel.
An investigation was launched this afternoon and inquiries are ongoing. Police also stated that no arrests have been made so far in connection with the stabbing.
A spokesman for Manchester Police said: “Officers were called to reports of a stabbing in Rochdale Road, Royton, at 2.49am this morning.”
“A 29-year-old man suffered what appeared to be a stab wound but is not believed to be life-threatening.
“No arrests have been made, the investigation is ongoing.”
