Men are more polite than women

In a study, men are more polite than women.
The researchers looked at 10.8 million words expressed by approximately 700 participants who recorded that they had daily talks.
The team analyzed which gender’s kindness with words such as “friend”, “friend”, “love” and “domestic animal” and “careful”.
And the findings found what men say about 700 times in each million words used on average.
However, women said only 120 times “wife.”
The study, published at the Pragmatics Journal, suggests that using the word “wife” can help make social relations stronger.
Professor Jonathan Culpeper, a joint author of the study, quoted by the Daily Mail newspaper from the University of Lancaster: “Words like ‘Mate’ are very important to be polite to others.
“They offer solidarity – if someone says you ‘wife’, you have something in common, they sympathize with you, and like you. Such statements help strengthen social relationships.
“Therefore, while people instinctively think that women are more polite than men, the tendency to use words such as ‘wife’ is a reason why men generally create a better impression.”
