Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi surprise Brisbane moviegoers at screening of Wuthering Heights
It was an unforgettable Valentine’s Day for moviegoers in Brisbane. Wuthering Heights It turned into a star-studded event as the stars of the show took to the stage.
Queensland-born actors Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi celebrated Valentine’s Day by surprising fans at cinemas in New Farm, Red Hill and Chermside on Saturday, hand-delivering roses and sweets as a special treat.
“We were actually waiting until we got home [to Queensland]Robbie told the room at New Farm.
“Still recovering,” one person wrote along with a video of their visit. To the Palace Cinemas on James Street.
Footage also emerged of Elordi’s security fighting with a paparazzi before going to one of the screenings.
Brisbane native Elordi and Gold Coast native Robbie are on an exciting press tour for their latest film, directed by Emerald Fennell.
Robbie, who is also the producer of the film, which came to Sydney for its premiere on Thursday, touched upon the discussions regarding the adaptation of Emily Bronte’s book.
“I guess you can assume this will happen, especially when you make a bold comment like this: [Fennell’s] version.
“Of course there will be mixed opinions, but we expect to weather the storm and for people to see the film and they can make up their own minds,” Robbie said.
