Donald Trump did not show signs of appointment of the Ambassador of Canberra, although he did so for more than 50 countries, he fueled the accusations that Australia was a low diplomatic priority due to Australia’s US President tariff rates and the future of the Aukus Defense Agreement.
The Federal opposition concentrated his criticism of President Anthony Albania for not having a meeting with Trump after the President said that he plans to increase his basic tariff rate from 10 percent to 20 percent.

The Trump administration announced the Ambassador candidates for at least 52 countries such as Malta, Tunisia, Bahamas, Latvia, Namibia and New Zealand.
The US Senate approved the nominees of the ambassadors of Trump, China, Japan, Canada, Mexico, France, Israel, England, Ireland, Turkey and Panama, and allowed these diplomats to assume their duties in the embassies in their host countries.
