Mark Wahlberg’s daughter Grace is on the road to recovery after a horrific horseback riding accident.
“The Family Plan 2” actor shared an emotional post and said that Grace was already determined to get back on her horse.
“It’s going great,” Wahlberg said Reach Hollywood Before remembering the moment he found out about the accident.

“It’s a very, very dangerous sport, but he’s very passionate about it,” he said. “All he wanted was to get back on that horse – no pun intended. But he was a bit fussy and worried that we would find this sport too dangerous. But he’s so passionate, so dedicated.”
Sharing her father’s unique passion, Grace spent years honing her skills as a competitive equestrian.
Wahlberg went on to praise her determination and work ethic, calling her “very disciplined.”

“[She’s got the] Getting up at 4 a.m. every morning, going to the barn seven days a week, doing everything he has to do to take care of the horses, training and everything is discipline,” Wahlberg said proudly.

Even though Grace is the youngest in the family, Wahlberg said she shows maturity beyond her years.

“I kind of adopted that discipline when I became a parent,” she shared. “For him to go through this at such a young age…” Wahlberg paused before once again acknowledging how “very, very scary” the incident was for him as a father.
Last week Grace shared: instagram He said he was hospitalized after the accident.

The post included a photo of the teenager, who regularly competes in equestrian events, lying in a hospital bed with her left arm in a black sling.
“No pressure, we’ll be back,” he confidently wrote alongside photos of himself overcoming obstacles on his horse.

Details about the accident were not disclosed.
Last year, Wahlberg offered simple advice to parents sending their children to college.

“It’s a nice thing to encourage them to follow their dreams, take a chance on themselves, and dream big,” he told Fox News Digital.
“But along with big ideas, you also have to do the little things to achieve those big goals. So doing the work, believing in yourself, not being afraid of failure and just staying close to it,” the actor added.
