Massive fire at scrap yard in Hyderabad’s Bholakpur triggers firefighting, late night evacuation

A big fire broke out Late on Sunday night, May 3, 2026, at a scrapyard in Bholakpur, Musheerabad, led to a large-scale fire-fighting operation and evacuation of nearby residents.

Before firefighting efforts intensified, 50 to 100 people were evacuated from adjacent buildings as a precaution. No human casualties were reported. However, a pet dog in the warehouse died in a fire.
