Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games will soon be a marketer in charge of selling the event to the world.

Former Tourism Fiji General Manager Brent Hill, who ended his term of office in Pacific last month, will return to the native Australia in November to play the role of Brisbane 2032 head marketing officer.

“In 2032, the world’s attention will be in Brisbane and Queensland, and we have an incredible opportunity to raise the city on the global stage, as it has never been before,” he said.

“I can’t wait to encourage the richness of people and experiences, making us unique and attracting millions of people to our shores every year.”

Brisbane 2032 General Manager Cindy Hook said Hill has a strong history with global campaigns.

“We have a lifetime to emphasize Brisbane and Queensland on the world stage in 2032, it is arranged to witness millions of visits and one of the greatest billions of the biggest sports events and a really unifying event,” he said.

“It positions us to maximize the opportunities of games, including Brent’s global marketing and tourism experience, supporting the permanent heritage for Brisbane, Queensland and beyond.”
