Medical student ends life in Shivamogga

A medical student, a native of Tumakuru district, allegedly died by suicide at a hostel on the campus of Shivamogga Institute of Medical Sciences in Shivamogga on Wednesday night.

Sandeep Raj, 27, was a postgraduate student in the Department of Radiology. It is said that he left a death note. Doddapete police registered a report of unnatural death.

Shivamogga SP Nikhil B. told the media that the student had mentioned health issue in his death note. He said the family was informed. .
