Medicover Collaborates With Evergreen Healthcare to Strengthen Air Ambulance Service

Hyderabad: Medicover Hospitals has entered into a collaboration with Evergreen Healthcare to strengthen air ambulance services and coordinated patient transfers in India and key international corridors.
Although Medicover’s new hospital in the Financial District has not yet been officially opened, the collaboration is a step towards establishing a robust emergency and critical care transfer ecosystem.
The partnership focuses on structured referral pathways that include air ambulance operations, intercity critical care transfers, and international patient movement for complex cases requiring advanced tertiary and quaternary care.
For families facing sudden trauma, cardiac emergencies, organ failure, or other critical situations, access to rapid and well-coordinated transportation is often the first important step in the care journey. By aligning with Evergreen Healthcare, Medicover aims to ensure smoother clinical handovers, faster response times and continuity of care across geographies.
Medicover Hospitals Emergency Medicine Department Head Dr. “Emergency begins at the first response point. Structured transfer systems, especially air ambulance and international coordination, are crucial to ensure patients reach the right care at the right time,” said Nayan Sriramula.
The collaboration was spearheaded by Mahesh Degloorkar, chief operating officer of Medicover Hospitals, a statement said.
