Raised in a family that valued both academics and the arts, Aishiki grew up in an environment rich in learning and creativity. Due to his father’s transferable job, he spent much of his childhood adapting to new places; It was an experience that sparked his interest in understanding human behavior. While his father worked as a senior corporate professional, his mother, who earned a master’s degree in economics, built a strong academic foundation at home. Music also played an important role in her upbringing, and Aishiki continues to sing and perform occasionally. She is currently in her third year of Bachelor (Hons) Psychology at Banaras Hindu University and aims to pursue a career in human resources, Shiksha reports.

According to Shiksha reports, Aishiki started preparing for the CAT exam in her second year of college in August 2024. Coming from a humanities background and having limited familiarity with mathematics since Class 10, she decided to start her preparations early. Despite facing burnout and the added pressure of university exams approaching the CAT exam date, she remained focused and adapted her study routine to manage her time effectively.

Aishiki Sen’s Exam Strategy by Department
Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) was his strongest area. He managed his time carefully, prioritizing reading comprehension passages before moving on to verbal ability questions. For Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation (LRDI), he spent the first minutes scanning all sets to identify the easiest ones and ensure maximum accuracy. According to Shiksha’s reports, Quantitative Aptitude proved to be the toughest section, where she adopted a selective approach in which she attempted only manageable questions in the first round and moderate questions later.
Study Resources and Coaching Support
Aishiki relied on Arun Sharma’s books to build his quantitative foundation before moving on to the Iquanta study material. He enrolled in Iquanta’s early mass coaching program and credits it with contributing greatly to his success. Regular practice, structured lessons and quality mock tests helped him hone his strategy.
