Meghan and Harry snubbed at Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party | US | News

Meghan Markle was reportedly in full ‘networking’ mode at Kris Jenner’s star-studded 70th birthday bash, according to insiders.
The Duchess of Sussex, along with her husband Prince Harry, attended the lavish Kris Jenner celebration hosted by Amazon tycoon Jeff Bezos and his wife Lauren Sánchez at their £125 million mansion in Beverly Hills.
Wearing black tie, the Royal couple rubbed shoulders with many celebrities, including Beyoncé and Jay Z, Martha Stewart, Mariah Carey, Oprah Winfrey, Paris Hilton, Adele and all the Kardashians.
The insider said that although it looked like another celebrity birthday party, Meghan was “chattering around with the power players” at the event.
Meghan’s ‘network mode’
“He was definitely in networking mode. He was chit-chatting with a lot of power players,” a source told Page Six.
They also described Meghan’s demeanor as “cool”. Express USA.
However, despite their apparent networking efforts, Meghan and Harry appear to be ‘underrated’ by other celebrities who have refrained from sharing any photos or moments from the party on social media.
Kris Jenner was seen sharing photos with Jeff Bezos and his wife Lauren Sanchez, as well as Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys and Chris Rock.
Neglect ‘says a lot’
Other photos showed him posing with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan, singer Ciara, Paris Hilton and Meghan Trainor, but there were no photos featuring Harry and Meghan.
Branding and promotions expert Chad Teixeira told the Daily Mail: “In the world of celebrity PR, silence and neglect are as calculated as a post, and Kris Jenner’s silence speaks volumes here.
“In Hollywood, being seen with someone is often as important as being seen, and this could feel like a sign of how Kris feels about them.”
He also commented: “Kris Jenner’s decision not to post these may be due to the fact that they don’t share many moments together, but it’s more of a considered decision and not posting them speaks louder than any caption.”
Branded ‘too sticky’
The Duke and Duchess’s presence at the party also sparked controversy, with one Royal family member describing it as “tacky”.
“It’s so tacky,” a palace insider told Page Six.
They continued: “This really shows how distant Harry is from the rest of the family. These people may be the stars of America, but pure vanity is at odds with what Prince William is trying to do with his life and the monarchy.”
