Meghan launches Christmas chocs after Netflix show

The Duchess of Sussex has launched a line of Christmas chocolates, the day after her much-derided holiday special debuted on Netflix.
Meghan’s limited-edition As Always “Chocolate Holiday Trio” is promoted as “perfect, high-end gifts for stocking stuffers.”
Each 80g stick costs US$12 ($A18), is limited to two sticks per person and is wrapped in special botanical print paper.
Critics slammed the duchess’s With Love, Meghan Christmas special, which premiered on Wednesday, with one critic calling it “pretty crazy and a little sad” and others calling it “condescending” and advising viewers to take anti-nausea pills before watching.
Here, Meghan shares festive tips like letting Christmas tree decorations “find the light”, explains how advent calendars work and urges people to make “every day” of December special.
The firm said the new chocolate bars use Meghan’s “beloved signature ingredients” of As Ever raspberry cream and floral sprinkles to “spark a little sweet nostalgia”.
The three flavors are dark chocolate with raspberries and sea salt, white chocolate with flower sprinkles and hemp hearts, and milk chocolate with cookies and bee pollen.
The white chocolate version is promoted as “As seen on With Love, Meghan.”
Meghan makes generous use of flower sprinkles and hemp seed hearts, sold by As Ever for $US15 ($A23) in the first two seasons of her series.
Described as “curated by Meghan and crafted by Compartes chocolatier and tastemaker Jonathan Grahm,” As Ever calls the confection “the most coveted set of the season.”
