On Thursday, while both sides accused each other for shooting each other, Thailand accused Cambodia, a hospital hit by the shells, and at least one rocket hit by targeting civil infrastructure, including a gas station hit.

In the UN, the ambassador of Cambodia questioned the claim that the country that developed less and less military than Thailand’s neighbor was starting a conflict.

“[The Security Council] Calling both sides [show] Consult a maximum restriction and a diplomatic solution. We are looking for this, Chhe Chhea Keo said.

The fight points to a dramatic rise in a long -lasting disagreement between the borders of 800 km between neighbors. In several areas, dozens of kilometers were appealed and the fight began between 2008 and 2011, and at least 28 people died and tens of thousands of people were displaced.

In 2013, an UN court resolved the decision for more than ten years, but the current crisis exploded when the Cambodian troops were killed in a new conflict in May.
