Meghan Markle uses same tactic as Kate hours after Australia arrival | Royal | News

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were seen talking to children and their parents during their visit to Melbourne Children’s Hospital today. The couple had arrived Down Under just hours before the visit, without their two children in tow.
When speaking to children, Meghan appeared to employ the same tactic that Princess Catherine usually employs on visits involving teenagers. She could be seen leaning down to eye level, a sweet move used especially by her sister-in-law.
Meghan was seen talking to a four-year-old little girl named Lily, who was born just a day before her daughter in June 2021.
Catherine, mother of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, is known for her natural ability to connect with young people during royal engagements and visits.
In order to interact and talk with children, he is known to bend or kneel depending on the level of the children.
Six-year-old Prince Archie and four-year-old Princess Lilibet did not join their parents in Australia this week.
Archie and Lilibet, affectionately nicknamed Lili by her parents, remain in California and are presumably being cared for by Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland.
Meghan and Harry have received a mixed reception following the start of their tour of Australia, showcasing causes they care deeply about.
The former royals will visit venues in Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney over several packed days.
