Meghan Markle warned about ‘mistake’ | UK | News

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle usually keep their privacy around their Thanksgiving celebrations, but this year may be different as Meghan develops her own lifestyle brand and the holidays serve as a marketing opportunity.

As Thanksgiving approaches, royal commentator and consumer research expert Pauline Maclaran has provided insight into how the Sussexes might approach the upcoming festive period.

Maclaran expressed concerns that Meghan’s business ambitions could potentially hinder Harry’s attempts to repair his bond with his father, King Charles, who Prince William is said to be increasingly supportive of.

“Meghan definitely seems to be sharing more of her private side, so she might post her Thanksgiving celebrations on Instagram in some way,” Maclaran said.

He explained why the increased social media interaction could be problematic: “Harry seems to be trying to keep things out with his family. I think he wants to see his father more often and is aware of how his actions could have an impact on the King,” reports Express US.

Allegedly, William became more open to the possibility of Harry reintegrating into the Royal family, which put extra pressure on Harry to proceed with caution.

Harry seems conscious of this fragile dynamic and carefully monitors his public statements and behavior.

While some situations remain beyond his influence, including snapshots of himself and Meghan surfacing online, other elements appear to be more controllable. But Meghan’s expanded Instagram activity, while welcomed by Royal fans, could inadvertently sabotage Harry’s attempts to mend fences with the Royal Family.

Meghan is advised to tread carefully when mixing family business with business endeavors.

Maclaran doesn’t expect Meghan to “make a big deal about Thanksgiving” because Meghan has different goals.

“There’s certainly a gift box full of jams on his site, as usual, and there’s talk of ‘holiday season,’ but it’s more appropriate for Christmas than Thanksgiving,” Maclaran said.

“I suspect she devotes most of her efforts to Christmas shopping, which makes sense as gift-giving is much more prevalent during this time. Their products are ideal as gifts!”.

“Given the range is much more suitable for gifts, I think it would be a mistake to promote the range too much for Thanksgiving, given how close it is to Christmas and the risk of consumer fatigue.”
