Melanie C shares wedding video of herself getting ready in custom Adidas robe and sliders as she gives a glimpse of her emotional speech and the Spice Girls reuniting on the dancefloor

Melanie C showed behind the scenes of her magical wedding with Australian model Chris Dingwall in a video she shared. Vogue on Tuesday.

Sporty Spice could be seen wearing the custom Adidas satin robe and slippers she wore to get ready for her wedding, with the date of her big day written on it.

The video also featured Melanie’s emotional wedding speech as she exchanged vows with Chris, and later how she and her friends the Spice Girls smashed the dance floor at the reception while Melanie wore another Adidas two-piece outfit.

Melanie and Chris, 52, tied the knot in a ‘perfect’ Lake District wedding in the grounds of The Country House Cumbria on Saturday.

The singer shared a few clips of her incredible dress, designed by her Spice Girls co-star Victoria Beckham, who was the only band member to miss the wedding, along with Mel B, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton.

She looked radiant with her make-up prepared by experts and posing in her Adidas silk robe.

‘When her current husband proposed, [she said] “I knew right away it was the right thing to do. When you get to my age you’re like… I actually want to experience everything.”.’

Melanie showed off her extensive ’90s inks after donning her dress before being led down the aisle and holding the microphone to deliver her speech.

After the elegant celebrations, she was back in Spice Girls mode, donning silk palazzo trousers, a cropped Adidas bomber jacket and a statement crop top.

She was wearing ‘bride’ socks and Adidas superstar sneakers with the wedding date written on them.

The dance floor-worthy look was completed with custom sneakers emblazoned with the wedding date.

Their glamorous guests complemented the bridal look perfectly; Mel B chose a sparkling champagne bodycon dress, Geri wore a romantic floral dress, albeit white, and Emma chose a bold pink checkered Vivienne Westwood trouser suit.

The video showcased the journey to the dance floor as Melanie showed off her gorgeous abs in the crop top before taking to the DJ stage.

The video also includes Melanie’s emotional wedding speech as she exchanges vows with Chris; Chris could be seen reading a card.

Melanie looked jaw-dropping in the video, which showed off her day from start to finish and showed off the incredible Victoria Beckham wedding dress her friend designed for her.

The Spice Girls giggled as they posed on the field, with Geri also raising eyebrows by wearing bridal white.

Melanie giggled as she tripped over her evening outfit, which consisted of an Adidas cropped bomber jacket and wide-legged trousers made specifically for her.

Before hitting the dance floor, she wore a pair of Adidas Superstar sneakers emblazoned with her wedding date and a pair of ‘bridal’ socks.

She also had a pair of sliders emblazoned with the logo of sports brand Adidas and her wedding date in the iconic band, reflecting her ‘Sporty’ personality.

In a series of photos published by Vogue, Melanie was seen wearing her dress and walking hand in hand with her new husband Chris.

‘The spark was immediate,’ Melanie told Vogue. ‘When I met Chris I was 49 and in a really good place. We had a date in Australia and it has been very difficult to keep us apart ever since.

‘It was a great addition to my life and my daughter’s life. Because you know, I’m a single mother. My daughter is 17 and we are pretty tough, we are a team. It would be difficult for anyone who comes to our world, and he adapts perfectly. It’s a beautiful dynamic.’

Melanie met Chris, thought to be in his 40s, on private dating app Raya in 2023.

She admitted that she initially thought the romance was over following her split from previous long-term partners, including Thomas Starr.

But during a night out at the bar, his friends convinced him to download the app and turned his search for a partner into a game they jokingly called ‘boy Bingo’.

The couple first held a legal ceremony in Australia, and a particularly emotional detail was also revealed; Melanie added a special Australian touch to her chic ivory gown, which featured a striking backless and minimalist silhouette.

The Spice Girl embroidered the words ‘Sydney’ and ‘7.6.2026’ in blue as ‘something blue’ on the inside of her custom-made Victoria Beckham wedding dress, to commemorate the date and place when she and Dingwall officially became husband and wife.

Melanie also revealed that the ‘something borrowed’ for the Sydney ceremony came from the wardrobe of none other than her friend and fashion designer Victoria Spice Girl.

Speaking to Vogue, Victoria said: ‘I was actually having dinner with Melanie and I asked her what she was doing.

‘He told me very casually that he was going to Australia and getting married in two days! When I asked what she was wearing, she said she had ordered one of my dresses but it didn’t fit well and she didn’t have time to change it before leaving.

‘I found this same dress in my own wardrobe and offered to lend it to her.’
