Chaotic video shows the moment a mid-air fight broke out between passengers on a Jet2 flight to the United Kingdom on Thursday, reportedly forcing the plane to divert.
Flight LS896, traveling from Antalya, Türkiye, to Manchester, England, was diverted to Belgium after what the airline described as “appalling behavior” by two “disturbing” passengers on board, representatives said. New York Post.

It was not immediately clear what triggered the fight. However, an eyewitness claimed a male passenger made “racist” remarks early in the flight. reported.
“From the early hours of the flight, a passenger sitting behind us started making racist remarks, too quiet for others to hear clearly, but loud enough for us to hear,” the passenger said. he said.

Flight attendants tried to de-escalate the situation, but the argument eventually turned physical.
After it was diverted to Brussels, authorities removed two passengers from the plane. The plane then continued its journey and landed in Manchester around 10 p.m., the Post reported.
Jet2 confirmed that both men were placed on the airline’s no-fly list.
“We can confirm that the two offending passengers will be banned from flying with us for life,” Jet2 told the Post. “We will also pursue them vigorously to recover the costs we incurred as a result of this diversion.”
