Mike Lindell Appears to Be Served With a Lawsuit Mid-Interview: ‘I’m Not Accepting It’
Mike Lindell, MyPillow CEO And Owner of LindellTVsaw his on-camera interview derailed by an alleged process server at Thursday’s Conservative Political Action Conference.
O’Keefe Media Group reporter Michael Casey shared footage of his conversation with Lindell at the CPAC event in Grapevine, Texas, on Thursday afternoon. In the clip, Lindell hears a brunette woman in a red dress saying, “Hello, sorry to interrupt. I bought this for you. It was delivered to you.” He is facing an alleged lawsuit.
Lindell responded to the woman’s interruption by trying to push her out of the way, repeatedly saying: “We’re on TV here, please. We’re on TV, please. OK, we’re on TV.”
When Casey began questioning the woman about the content of the case in question, Lindell intervened and said, “I don’t agree.”
However, the woman did not compromise, informing the businessman that she had been notified and that she needed to receive the document. At that moment, Lindell took the papers from his hand and threw them behind the camera.
Although Casey didn’t share any concrete details about the incident, he wrote about X: “Deranged leftist interrupts my interview with @realMikeLindell while trying to ‘serve’ him with court documents. Mike Lindell’s reaction was priceless.” Watch the exchange below.
It’s unclear at this time whether this is just a ruse or an actual process server suing Lindell. A representative for Lindell did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.
Still, this has been an eventful week for Lindell, who lost his bid to overturn a defamation ruling related to the 2020 election.
On Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Nina Wang denied a post-trial motion challenging a $2 million verdict in a civil case that found Lindell and fellow media company Frankspeech liable for defaming Eric Coomer, a Dominion Voting Systems employee who was targeted with allegations of fraud by MAGA supporters following Donald Trump’s election defeat to Joe Biden.
