A source said: ‘He’s really starting to understand who he is as a person; not as a mother, not as a wife, but actually as herself.

‘It’s the first time he’s been able to be completely open about his sexuality, and of course there’s a lot to deal with.’

Millie said: ‘When I was younger I used to make out with women when I was drinking but it wasn’t something I was sure I could do sober…

‘I liked girls at school and I didn’t have the awareness to say, ‘I like girls too.’ I would just have crushes and act weird towards them. I remember having a sleepover and wondering, “I wonder if they’ll kiss me?” I remember saying.’

Adding that many of her struggles were resolved in therapy, Millie told Caggie: ‘A lot of my relationships with women have been explored, I’ve been bullied, so I definitely have intimacy issues with women, but there’s also an attraction.’

She continued: ‘Obviously I’m married to a man so it’s not something that affects our relationship anymore, but looking back I realize it was one of the reasons why I drank destructively, because there was a part of me that I didn’t understand and I didn’t know how to express it and I was afraid to express it.

‘Whenever I drank, I would continue to do so even if I was in a relationship.’

Sharing the moment she opened up about her sexuality to husband Hugo Taylor, she revealed that her husband was incredibly supportive.

‘They are currently considering what living apart might look like and how they plan to go about co-parenting their young children.

‘It’s been an incredibly difficult start to the year and they hope to continue to manage this privately.’

Millie first met Hugo as a teenager and they started dating when Hugo was 21 and found fame together on the E4 reality series.

The heiress married 42-year-old rapper Professor Green in 2013, but the couple divorced in 2016, the same year she rekindled her relationship with Hugo.

The couple married two years later and welcomed their first daughter, Sienna, in 2020 and Aurelia in 2021.

In recent years Millie has been open about her past struggles with alcohol to fans, which led to her not drinking and writing the book Bad Drunk, as well as her journey overcoming severe anxiety.

Millie spoke candidly about how she started binge drinking at a young age while at boarding school, using alcohol to cope with being away from home, bullying and her own insecurities.
