In response to Fox News Digital’s request for clarification on Schwarze’s voting records, a spokesperson for Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon said simply: “Minnesota’s election system is subject to extensive state and federal laws to ensure it is honest, secure and accurate.”
“Minnesotans fundamentally trust our election system, which is why we consistently rank number one in voter turnout,” the spokesperson said. “Minnesota was ranked No. 1 in the 2026 Election Performance Index by the MIT Election Data and Science Lab, a nonpartisan, biennial survey and analysis that compares election administration policy and performance across the country.”
The spokesperson encouraged “anyone who wants to learn more about election security measures in Minnesota” to visit the state’s election security webpage.
The website also states, “Minnesota elections are the envy of the nation,” adding, “We are proud of our strong voter turnout, ballot access laws, robust security measures, and transparency that are an essential part of maintaining trust in the system.”
Schwarze, meanwhile, believes this shows that “voter integrity issues persist, just as fraud goes back decades.”
Schwarze began his career as a Navy officer in May 2012. The next month he was sent to Naval Amphibious Base Coronado for training. Fox News Digital reviewed a copy of Schwarze’s BUD/S orders; this puts his report date for the approximately six-month course as June 12, and his graduation from the course in December.
By November, when the presidential election took place, Schwarze said: “I was on a mountain in Laguna Mountain in California.”
“It was physically impossible for this to happen [vote] “It will happen,” he said.
This comes after Minnesota was rocked by a blow. Widespread Medicaid fraud scandal was uncovered earlier this year, potentially amounting to billions of stolen tax dollars. Minnesota’s top leaders, including Democratic Gov. Tim Walz and Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan, who is also running for the U.S. Senate, have been criticized nationally for allowing fraud to get out of control during their watch.
According to Schwarze, taxes and election fraud go hand in hand.
“Fraud of your tax dollars does not occur in a vacuum. It is linked to other forms of fraud, such as election integrity,” he said. “Just like fraud is an iceberg, tax fraud, once we start rolling the iceberg, we don’t know how big it will get until we fully investigate it.”
“We don’t know how deep this is,” he continued.

Schwarze said requests to state officials for more information since discovering the mysterious game have not yet been fulfilled. He said he didn’t even know who he was marked as voting for.
“This clearly shows that we have an election integrity problem in our state,” he said. “So let’s solve the problem. Let’s vote in person with paper and ID on the same day; American citizens want this too. This is my demand.”

“All my life I’ve fought for the United States of America. I’ve fought for democracy all over the world,” he continued. “One of the pillars and fundamental principles of democracy is free, fair and transparent elections, and we have none of that right now in the United States.”
