He further added, “It was never my intention to hurt, humiliate or offend anyone. A few days before the incident, I interacted with leading gynecologists and sexologists who shared growing concerns about sexually transmitted diseases in the younger generation due to unprotected sex. This conversation stuck with me. When I was a guest on Nanku and Karun’s show and saw a large number of Gen Zers in the audience, I tried to convey a message about the importance of protection in a language they would refer to. They are watching on OTT.”
Concluding his statement, Singh said, “However, I deeply regret that the way I expressed this message was inappropriate and unacceptable to many. I offer my sincerest apologies to anyone who felt hurt or disrespected. I assure you that from now on, I will be much more careful and responsible in my words and actions. Your one and only Yo Yo Honey Singh.”
