Missing Vishali Found Murdered In Eluru

Eluru III Town police solved the case of missing woman Vishali by arresting a milk vendor on charges of killing her. Police had earlier found Vishali’s body buried near Polavaram Main Canal of Pallerlamudi village in Eluru district. According to Eluru DSP D. Sravan Kumar, police received a complaint regarding the disappearance of 35-year-old Vishali on April 18. Vishali, a native of Gudivada village, married Prakash from Vatluru village of Eluru district. The couple has two children.
According to police, the family regularly bought milk from Francis, to whom he was loaned money. Vishali borrowed money from Francis and in the process, the two developed a relationship. Authorities said Vishali then began to distance herself from Francis, citing her family’s reputation and the well-being of her children. Police said that on April 18, Francis took Vishali to Polavaram Main Canal area on his motorcycle, strangled her to death and buried the body near Pallerlamudi village in Nuzvid mandal of Eluru district. When Vishali’s family realized she was missing, they filed a complaint with the police. DSP said that after killing Vishali, accused Francis used Vishali’s mobile phone to send messages to mislead investigators.
Police arrested Francis on Friday and he is said to have confessed to the crime.
Inter student died by suicide
An intermediate student died by suicide at a private college near Kesarapalli in Gannavaram mandal of Krishna district on Thursday night, allegedly after being distressed over the expected score in APEAPCET-2026.
According to Gannavaram police, the student, a native of Anantapur district, had completed his Secondary education from the same college and had scored 940 out of 1,000 marks.
Police said he had applied for advancement exams in three subjects and returned to college to prepare.
Officials said the student allegedly became upset after checking the recently released APEAPCET-2026 pre-key and believing that he had scored lower than expected.
Police registered a case of suspicious death and launched an investigation.
3 people died as a result of the collision between a car and a motorcycle
At least three people lost their lives in an accident that occurred when an autorickshaw collided head-on with a motorcycle near Pandavagallu village of Adoni mandal of Kurnool district on Friday night.
According to the information obtained, Veeresh and Mahindra, who were traveling on bicycles, died at the scene of the collision. Vishwanath, a Kautalam resident who was traveling in the car, later died of his injuries.
Police took the bodies of the victims to Adoni General Hospital for autopsy.
Child drowned in water hole under bridge in Kadapa
A five-year-old boy died after accidentally falling into a water hole in the Bugga Vanka basin of Kadapa headquarters on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Syed Yusuf, a resident of Gurralagadda Street. According to sources, the boy had gone fishing in a water-filled pit near the Shamiriya Bridge, which was under construction.
However, Yusuf accidentally fell into the pit and began to struggle to get out. Realizing that the child was drowning, local residents immediately took the child out and took him to RIMS Hospital. However, when they arrived at the hospital, doctors announced that the child was already dead.
Former Kadapa mayor Paka Suresh Kumar visited the bereaved family and expressed his condolences. He assured the family of support during difficult times.
Speaking to reporters later, Suresh Kumar alleged negligence at the Shamiriya Bridge construction site and demanded strict action against officials and contractors in connection with Yousuf’s death.
