Missing witnesses and lingering questions plague prosecution as Diddy trial nears conclusion: expert

The government is expected to complete its case against Sean “Diddy” combs on Monday after more than six weeks of witnesses than a series of witnesses.

The jury election for the sex crime case began on May 5, and the prosecution called Diddy’s former assistant “drug mule” Paul after claiming that Bad Boy Records was allegedly employed by the founder of Bad Boy Records.

Didy’s legal team, headed by Marc Agnifilo and Teny Geragos, said they would start two weeks to defend their case, but last week they could relax to Judge Arun Subramanian until Tuesday or Wednesday.

Despite the end of the hearing, the former Federal Prosecutor Neama Rahmani He admitted that there were questions left with the case, including the questions that the lock witnesses were missing.

Diddy said that the ‘drug mule’ alleged employees act like ‘Seal Team 6’, he used cocaine to stay awake

Rahmani, “What happened to Gina, the victim in the indictment? The government said they could not keep him and did not testify.” He said. “He was scared, embarrassed, paid by the combs, or was there any other reason why he did not comply with the court? Whatever it was, it was a mistake to list it as a sacrifice when there was no guarantee of prosecution.

He did not claim that Diddy threatened or paid money in court to avoid witnesses.

Rahmani also wondered why Diddy’s Chief of General Staff Kristina “KK” was not called to testify. Brendan Paul said that on Friday, KK’s “basically managing the business”.

During the testimony of the witness Anaya Sankar, the jury showed short messages between diddy’s former Cassie Ventura and KK dated May 2, 2017. Cassie claimed that the KK was “last night” the singer locking the door and dragging his hair.

Cassie and KK said more short messages dated April 20, 2018, Cassie could not get violence and could not be expelled from their own home. KK replied, “I don’t know what else to say, but I’m here…” Cassie wrote then, “I just want to focus.”

The jury was then shown short messages between KK and Diddy’s newer girlfriend who testified under the name of Jane. Diddy claimed that he was forced to have sex with men during the “hotel nights” and sometimes a sex session was recorded.

A short message sent from Jane to KK was shown to the jury, which claimed that Combs threatened to release the alleged sex tapes. Jane wrote, “You are his right woman… Maybe he will listen to you…” he wrote. The message was sent on 18 February 2024.

“Many of Combs’ Ghislaine sees him as Maxwell because he knows where the famous objects are buried.” “Khorram actually joined the alleged sex and drug smuggling and may be accused of a conspiracy. The government must have leaned against him to return to his former boss.

Rahmani questioned Diddy’s ex -girlfriends, including Cassie, Mia and Jane, and questioned why he had been sexually assaulted and made a human trafficking.

“The government continued Dawn Hughes to explain the psychology of abuse, but this is the biggest question of this.” “Did the victims remain because they wanted the money and fame of Combs?

He continued: “Is this rape or really regret and anger? I’m not sure the prosecutors answered this question, and this is the argument that the defense has revealed with some success in the re -trial of Harvey Weinstein.”

What the jury will decide continues to be the biggest question in the case. Lawyer Nicole Empty BeckerFox News, representing R. Kelly, told Digital, the jury members, like everyone else, had difficulty distinguishing emotions from charges.

Becker, “Not only here, but when you hear P. Diddy’s terrible actions, then you see the actions in a video, and at some point the jury will be told ‘okay’, maybe the domestic violence, but that’s not really. This is about something bigger.” He said. He continued: “Even if the jury members are to be said, the idea that they can separate it in your mind, in this case there are many demonstrating evidence, my understanding.

“My experience with R. Kelly is not only to show what the government is trying to bring, but also brings an emotional side to a person, and sometimes it is very difficult to ignore it when you return as a jury.”

“I can only imagine the difficulty it should be when you go back to a jury room, because if you think it’s a good person or a bad person, is it true? So, they basically went back to control the boxes. The government returns there to control it.

Becker said that testimony and evidence could be misinterpreted and the jury has to separate emotions from the facts.

“Some of them, I think,” Becker said. “It is extremely difficult to say to yourself, ‘Okay, I have to allow myself to be emotionally involved in myself. I just need to listen to the law and then put the facts that the laws are appropriate.’

“I know [R. Kelly’s] The case, I can imagine how difficult it should be. And I think this will be another difficult part of the Diddy case. “
