MLA Seeks Dues Clearance For BLOs
Secunderabad Cantonment MLA Narayanan Sri Ganesh on Monday asked election officials to clear pending payments to Booth Level Officers and address voter grievances linked to SIR-2026 electoral roll revision. He raised the issues at an all-party meeting at the Electoral Registrar’s office, which was also attended by Sanki Ravinder Babu.
“The pending dues should be released immediately and justice should be provided to the BLOs,” Sri Ganesh told the officials.
Participants highlighted the problems faced by voters and field staff during the revision exercise and demanded immediate action on complaints. They also made suggestions to make the process transparent, simple and fair.
Ravinder Babu said the delegation had brought the field level challenges before the authorities and demanded steps to reduce the inconvenience experienced by the voters. The recommendations focused on making the revision easier to access and fair in the treatment of voters and election staff across the Canton.
