M&M secures deal to supply 35,000 Scorpio Pik Ups to Indonesian govt company Agrinas in 2026

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M) announced on Wednesday that it has received a supply order for 35,000 units of its light commercial vehicle Scorpio Pik Up from Indonesian state company Agrinas Pangan Nusantara.
The vehicles will be supplied in 2026 as part of a joint project in the Southeast Asian country.
These pickup trucks for the Koperasi Desa/Kelurahan Merah Putih (KDKMP) project will play an important role in improving logistics for Koperasi (cooperatives) being established across the country.
It was also stated that the latest vehicle order exceeded the company’s total export volume in FY25.
Under the partnership, Mahindra and Agrinas Pangan Nusantara will work together to equip Koperasi with these tools to ensure efficient and uninterrupted flow of fresh ingredients directly from farmers to the market, thereby bridging the gap between producer and consumer.
M&M Ltd said this collaboration aims to improve rural logistics and enable villages to become independent centers of economic growth.
“The volume committed for this partnership will significantly increase our international operations and contribute equivalent to our total export volumes achieved in FY25,” said Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.
The company said the vehicles will strengthen the Koperasi ecosystem by enabling goods to move efficiently within the cooperative network by providing first-mile collection and facilitating intra-village logistics, which involves moving produce from farms to cooperatives.
Gollagunta added that by deploying Scorpio Pik Ups as part of Koperasi, the company has strengthened a reliable logistics backbone that connects farmers to markets more efficiently.
The company said the Scorpio Pik Ups vehicles, manufactured at the company’s Nashik Plant, are designed to meet Koperasi’s operating requirements, from rough rural roads to farm roads.
