But insiders have since he told gossip columnist Rob Shuter. It was stated that guests who were caught taking photos of the young man were threatened with cancellation of their memberships.

‘Melania has made it clear that Barron’s privacy is non-negotiable,’ a source said. ‘Anyone caught filming or taking photos will face immediate consequences, including being banned from the club.’

“The message was clear: no cameras, no leaks,” another source told Shuter. ‘Special family moments stay special.’

Those who attended the New Year’s Eve celebration said Barron followed his father closely in the dining room and spoke little throughout the night.

‘He was quiet, very reserved, wearing his usual blue suit, almost reflecting Donald,’ the insider said, according to Shuter.

Models Abla Sofy and Valeria Sokolova, the president’s only son sitting next to Trump, photographed the first lady celebrating the holiday season with her family, but now they could be banned from the Mar-a-Lago club for doing so.

Barron has kept a low profile since his father’s second term and has remained largely out of the public eye after leaving New York University’s main campus for the Fall 2025 semester.

He was last seen with his father when Trump took office last January.

At the time, the president praised his youngest son, who stands taller than him at 6 feet, 9 inches, for helping him reach a younger crowd in the 2024 presidential election.

“I have a very tall son,” Trump said as the crowd at Capital One Arena cheered and Barron threw his hands in the air triumphantly, unlike the more reserved Barron the country is used to.

‘He knew the votes of the young people. We won the youth game by 36 points. It said, “Dad, you gotta go out and do this [podcast] or him,” Trump said.

‘We’ve done a lot of them. He respects them all and understands them very well.’

Months later, Barron was photographed in Manhattan wearing a much furrier, more casual look.

The freshman at NYU’s Stern School of Business was also wearing a baggy sweater, jeans and Adidas sneakers.

Barron has kept a low profile since his father's second term in office, but he was at his father's side when he was sworn in, and he stood by the tech giants Trump has included in his second-term vision.

It was reported that Barron attended college from his father’s apartment in Trump Tower, which was his home and because of his fondness for his 54-year-old mother, Melania.

However, when he was nowhere to be seen in September, his whereabouts began to be questioned. from the school’s Manhattan campus during the first week of classes.

It was later revealed that he moved to the White House and started his second year at NYU’s Washington campus.

Barron’s transfer comes as he seemingly tries to prioritize getting his own business ideas off the ground.

According to insider information, Barron was busy meeting with business partners, developing technology projects and closing deals.

“Barron is actively working on his own financial interests and spending time with others he associates with in the field,” a source told People.

‘Still, he spent a lot of time with his family.’

It has also been reported that he has become more religious in recent months, with MAGA pastor Stuart Knechtle, 37, revealing last month that he was ‘very close’ to fully embracing the Christian faith following a late-night phone call from Barron.

“I was on the phone with Barron Trump at 12:30 one night, and I thought I hit him with everything but the kitchen sink when it came to all the evidence about God and Christianity,” Knechtle said on The George Janko Podcast this week.

‘I really thought I was ready. ‘I’m excited,’ he added. ‘Then at the end I emerged with my hand open, with almost nothing.’

But Knechtle claimed the 1.80-metre tall teenager was ‘very close’ to believing in Jesus after he made a last-ditch effort to convince him using ‘evidence’ of dreams and revelations.

“I brought up the dreams and the revelations and said, ‘Hey, look, Baron, I don’t usually accept that as evidence, but lastly, I want you to know this,'” he said.

‘I have a friend in Africa who witnessed thousands of Muslims coming to Christ through dreams and revelations. How do you explain this? [Barron’s] “Oh, that’s a very, very interesting point. And there are eyewitness accounts.”

‘You know, the way his mind works, like it’s the only thing tripping him up and he’s so close to believing in Jesus. Very close. And so I pray for this to happen.’

The Daily Mail has reached out to the White House, the Trump Organization, as well as Valeria Sokolova and Abla Sofy for comment.
