‘War of Modi’
Navarro is the same US official who calls the Russian-Ukrainian conflict ‘war of modi’. In an earlier interview on the balance of power of Bloomberg television, Navarro argued that India was effectively ‘helping Moscow by purchasing discounted oil from Russia. He also claimed that the new Delhi’s actions were damaging the United States as a whole. According to Navarro, American consumers, businesses and workers carry the cost of India’s high tariffs and result in business losses, factory closures, income and repressed wages. “… Taxpayers are losing, because we must finance Modi’s war,” he said.
