Modi knows how to earna name for himself: Vaiko

Prime Minister Narendra Modi knows how to earn a name for himself despite not having a good reputation among the people, MDMK general secretary Vaiko said on Monday.
Speaking to the media in Coimbatore, Mr. Vaiko said that the people of Tamil Nadu were disappointed with the Union Budget and were waiting for him to announce plans for it. To allocate funds to States where parliamentary elections are to be held.
He said it was pleasing that a Tamil was presenting the Union Budget for the ninth time and claiming that it contained plans to make India a developed country, but the benefits of growth were not reaching all sections of society. When asked whether his party would be able to reach double-digit seats in the DMK alliance in the upcoming elections, he said he had no idea about it. “We need to form a committee to hold seat-sharing talks and the committee will talk to DMK. Only then will we know the seats. Now others may talk about seat-sharing but I do not like to discuss it at this stage,” he said.
