New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday changed the screenshots on his social media accounts to mark one year of Operation Sindoor and asked everyone to do the same as a mark of respect for the armed forces and their achievement. All Union ministers, including Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah and S Jaishankar, along with BJP president Nitin Nabin and other party leaders, also changed their profile pictures on their social media accounts to mark the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor.
Modi’s profile picture on the handles of his X, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp channels has been replaced with an image with the text ‘Operation Sindoor’ on a black background. The painting is tricolour, one of the ‘O’s of ‘SINDOOR’ is filled with ‘sindoor’ (vermilion), the symbol of married Hindu women.

Jaishankar also changed his profile picture and posted a picture of the Operation Sindoor logo on his timeline.
Nabin said Operation Sindoor is a symbol of the self-respect, justice and unwavering determination of the nation.
“Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India has dusted off the terrorists who were sweeping away our sisters’ ‘sindoor’ and sent a clear message that ‘New India’ knows how to give a decisive response to every injustice,” the BJP chief said in a post on Hindi channel X. he said.
