Moldova bans Russia-aligned party ahead of election

The election officials in Moldova prevented a Russian -friendly party from stopping in the Parliamentary elections of Sunday, which threatens to increase tensions before the high -betting vote.

The decision to exclude the heart of Moldova, which is part of the patriotic block of the Central Election Committee (IEP), pursued a court decision that limits the party’s activity for a year.

At the beginning of this month, the Ministry of Justice demanded restrictions after searches that led to allegations of voter bribes, illegal party financing and money laundering claims of members of the Moldova Party.

Election Commission said in a statement that all candidates proposed by Moldova’s heart will be removed from the list of candidates and that the blocks have given 24 hours to adjust the list to meet the representation thresholds required by the election law.

The Sunday’s survey may have comprehensive consequences for Moldova, which warns the votes of the pro -European government to shake the votes and to raise the country’s proposal to join the European Union.

Moldova’s heart, the pro -EU government is facing unfounded attacks, he said.

“This is not justice, but the last action of a dirty show organized by the authorities with a single goal: silencing us,” he said.

After the decision, thirty -six candidates were shot in the ballot.

Party leader Irina vlah was approved by Latvia, Estonia and Poland on suspicion of helping Russian intervention this week.

DEP says that he wants friendship with Russia, “permanent impartiality” and “a state that serves people, not authorities”.

In recent weeks, the police carried out hundreds of raids aimed at illegal financing and claimed Russian -supported efforts in a widespread disinformation campaign.

Surveys show that the ruling Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), IEP and other competitors court voters may lose their majority due to the slow prices and slow reforms.

Experts say that the director in the coalition can significantly prevent PAS from his efforts to enter Moldova by 2030.
