Moment locals THANK F-15 pilot after she was shot down over Kuwait during Iran conflict

The pilot of the F-15 fighter jet shot down over Kuwait was thanked by local people who managed to eject safely before the plane hit the ground.

Footage on social media shows the unnamed female pilot smiling from ear to ear despite being shot out of the sky in a friendly fire accident moments earlier.

As the recording man approached the pilot, he asked, “Do you need anything to help?” he was heard asking.

‘It’s okay, you’re safe, you’re safe. Is everything ok? “Thank you for helping us,” the man continued.

The pilot was on one of three US jets that were accidentally shot down over the Middle Eastern country on Monday.

Previously, images had emerged showing the $90 million plane going out of control as it crashed to the ground.

US CENTCOM said all six crew members were evacuated safely, extricated, evacuated and transported to hospitals for medical checks.

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense said that they were coordinating with the USA regarding the ‘circumstances of the incident’ and that they would investigate.

A spokesman for Kuwait’s opposition ministry said: ‘Several US warplanes crashed this morning. All crew members are confirmed to have survived.

‘Authorities immediately launched search and rescue operations, evacuated the crew and transported them to a hospital for medical assessment and treatment. Their condition is stable.”

The footage also shows another pilot walking on the ground after successfully ejecting.

The Pentagon said Monday morning that the death toll among American service members had risen to four.

Just a day earlier, the administration had confirmed that three US soldiers were killed in clashes with Iranian forces.

The rising death toll comes after Donald Trump told the Daily Mail in an exclusive telephone interview on Sunday that the war with Iran could last for the next four weeks.

‘This has always been a four-week process. We thought it would take about four weeks. “This has always been about a four-week process, no matter how strong a country is, it’s going to take four weeks or less,” the president said.

At a press conference on Monday, Trump said the US was ‘capable of going much longer’ than the projected time frame.

The region was thrown into chaos over the weekend after the US and Israel hit Iran with missiles on Saturday, killing Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Tehran and its allies have retaliated against Israel, neighboring Gulf states and targets critical to the world’s oil and natural gas production.

The intensity of the attacks and the apparent lack of an exit plan are paving the way for a protracted conflict with far-reaching consequences.

The Iranian Red Crescent said that at least 555 people have been killed in Iran so far and more than 130 cities across the country have been attacked.

According to officials, 11 people were killed in Israel and 31 people in Lebanon.

Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian described the killing of the Religious Leader as a ‘declaration of war against Muslims’.

The country raised its so-called ‘red flag of revenge’ and vowed to strike the US and Israel with ‘unprecedented force’.
