Moment new ‘Cycling Mikey’ angrily clashes with driver after they BOTH pull out at a junction… so who’s right?

A controversial cycling council member was involved in another road rage with a motorist.
But this time cycling lawmaker Adrian Chapmanlaw may have found his match after competing with an ‘advanced rider’.
The two argued over who should give way when they approached an intersection from different directions at the same time.
Mr Chapmanlaw turned left on his bike towards the main road when the unidentified grey-haired rider turned right.
Although there appeared to be plenty of room between the car and Mr Chapmanlaw’s bike, the Liberal Democrat councilor shouted ‘oi’ at the driver as he felt he was being ripped apart.
The driver, who appeared to be in his 60s, was heard calling the cyclist “scum” through an open window before driving off.
Video from Mr Chapmanlaw’s helmet camera shows the man stopping further down the road in Poole, Dorset.
‘Come here you bastard’ he shouts and the elected member of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole council responds ‘no, fuck off’.

Video from Mr Chapmanlaw’s helmet camera shows the man standing further down the road in Poole, Dorset, shouting: ‘Come here you bastard’.
The councilor has previously been accused of deliberately trying to provoke conflict with drivers by inciting them and making his YouTube videos more interesting.
He got into angry and abusive arguments with many motorists and called motorists parking on zigzag roads outside schools ‘scum’.
Mr Chapmanlaw stops his bike near a Sainsbury’s supermarket and is followed by the driver, who gets out of his car to confront him.
The cyclist tells the driver that he should give way to him.
But the driver insists he should only have given way to traffic on his left, adding: ‘Don’t tell me about the bloody Highway Code because I have a very advanced licence.’
He then accused Mr. Chapmanlaw of giving him much abuse; The council member denied this, saying that he had only shouted ‘oi’ at him.
To get to the heart of the matter, the driver tells Mr Chapmanlaw that he has given himself ‘broad clearance’ and that he is not in danger.
He then accuses her of deliberately driving into the middle of the road to trigger a confrontation.
The driver returns to his car and repeatedly tells Mr. Chapmanlaw, ‘You’re an idiot.’
Mr Chapmanlaw included in his uploaded video a graphic from the Highway Code stating: ‘If you are turning left and oncoming traffic is turning right you have priority.’
He also stated at the end of the clip that he sent the video to Dorset Police Operation Snap, but no action was taken against the driver.

He had angry and abusive arguments with many drivers and called drivers who parked in zig-zags outside schools ‘scumbags’.
Two months ago, he posted a video of an argument with an Icelandic delivery driver who honked his horn when he got too close to his bike.
The delivery driver accused Mr Chapmanlaw of riding his bike outside the bike lane.
And last month the councilor came under fire for embarrassing a disabled woman who parked her car on the pavement outside her home during a medical emergency.
This week Mr Chapmanlaw shared on social media that he was now making money from his YouTube videos and was donating £100 from “bad drivers’ tears” to a cycling charity that provides free safety checks on schoolchildren’s bikes.

Commenting on his latest video, he said: ‘Unfortunately many drivers are impatient and risk takers, this driver drove to the wrong side of the road to get ahead when he should have given way, then became aggressive and misrepresented the rules despite having an ‘advanced licence’ which does not exist.’
‘All road users, cyclists, drivers and pedestrians see this aggressive behavior every day, and it often kills people.
‘We need the police to start taking meaningful action.’
