Moment woman, 21, is thrown to her death after ‘staff forgot to attach rope’ during bungee jump in Brazil

A female bungee jumper fell more than 130 meters to her death after staff ‘forgot’ to tie off her rope before throwing her off the bridge.
Footage taken from various angles shows the 21-year-old calmly carried by two workers before being thrown over the edge of the Skeleton Bridge in Limeira, in the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo.
However, none of them were aware that the safety rope was not actually attached to their body.
Tragically, the victim, referred to locally as Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas, had posted photos of her jump wristband and bridge just minutes before the incident.
Under a touching photo on her Instagram account, she wrote: ‘Who was the crazy person who let me jump off the bridge?’
In the video taken at the scene, it is seen that the young woman was pulled aside by the officers and then thrown into the stream bed.
Seconds after being released, bystanders can be heard frantically shouting ‘rope, people, rope’ in the background.
