Odell Beckham Jr. returned to the New York Giants, the team that drafted him 12th overall in 2014 and became one of the most polarizing stars in the league.
Beckham was traded to the Cleveland Browns in 2019, just one year after signing a five-year, $95 million extension. He’s back seven years later, and we’ve rounded up five of his most notable moments in a Giants uniform.
His personal slow start in 2016 when he said he “wasn’t having fun anymore” and then during an interview with Lil Wayne he said Eli Manning was the problem with the Giants offense in 2018; Although he’s probably right.

5. More than Headlines
Beckham’s talent was undeniable, but it was constantly put on the back burner as the constant conversation around him consisted mostly of on-field outbursts and questionable comments. However, on October 16, 2016, Beckham scored twice; one was a 75-yarder on third down and the other was a 66-yarder with less than 90 seconds remaining, the game-winner. His 222 yards receiving that afternoon were a career-high, and his fourth-quarter score capped off one of MetLife Stadium’s greatest successes.
4. “I Am a Dog”
Beckham got the chance to emulate a move every Giants fan wishes he could make. After scoring against the Eagles in Philadelphia in 2017, Beckham, in one of his more bizarre celebrations, got on all fours, lifted his leg, and pretended to urinate in the end zone. His logic? “I’m a dog, so I acted like a dog.”
Yes, he was fined.

3. Healing a Complicated Relationship
Beckham has quickly become a pretty controversial figure in the game thanks to some crazy catches and explosions, but this might be his most notable. Following Eli Manning’s interception against the Washington Redskins in 2016, Beckham swung his helmet into the kick net, which was responded to with a kick to the face.
Two weeks later, during the aforementioned game against the Ravens, he offered to kick the bullpen. Based on his reaction he said yes.

2. The Josh Norman Game
At the time, Josh Norman was an elite cornerback for the 14-0 Carolina Panthers and Beckham was an elite receiver in New York. The two have been on each other’s toes all week and got physical over the jump. When Beckham kicked a 52-yard field goal wide, Norman took advantage and got in well on Beckham’s header.
Both players called for a lot of unsportsmanlike behavior along with punches, tackles and many other extracurricular activities, somehow he wasn’t sent off and it ended with Beckham catching Norman from a few meters away.
Beckham avenged Norman with a game-tying touchdown pass and an Allen Iverson-like breakthrough, but the damage had already been done as the receiver was suspended for one game.
1. Capture
No questions asked, this is the best catch ever made. While being tackled, he caught a Hail Mary with three fingers for a touchdown.
