Monsoon tracker July 5 LIVE: IMD issues red alert for Mumbai, Raigad over next three hours amid heavy rainfall

Rain accompanied by thunder and lightning lashed many parts of Ahmedabad late on Saturday night (July 4) and early hours of Sunday (July 5), providing relief from the prevailing heat and humidity.

Rains were recorded in many parts of the city, including eastern and western Ahmedabad, resulting in a drop in temperatures.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), monsoon activities continue to be active in Gujarat; Storms and rains are expected to continue in Ahmedabad and some other regions in the coming days.
