More than 373,000 US customers without power due to extreme weather
Pennsylvania was hardest hit, with more than 70,000 outages, according to the data. The energy service with the most outages was FirstEnergy, where approximately 59,775 homes and businesses were without service, followed by DTE Energy, where 55,850 customers were without power.

DTE Energy said on its website earlier Monday that its Storm Response Team was on track to repair 95% of affected customers by the end of the day.
As of 5:29 PM EDT (2129 GMT), the company said 97.5% of its customers had electricity.
Michigan had the second highest number of outages by state, with approximately 64,155 customers without power. PPL Electric Utilities in Pennsylvania had approximately 51,012 customers without power; that accounts for about 2.6% of its customers in the state.
FirstEnergy said its Jersey Central Power and Light unit provided electricity to more than 300,000 customers following the storms. The remaining 40,000 outages are expected to be repaired by Tuesday, he added. The cities of Yonkers, Mount Vernon, Rye and New Rochelle in Westchester County north of New York City experienced the most storm-related outages, and 95% of Westchester customers affected by the July 4th storms were expected to be repaired by 7 p.m. Monday, Con Edison said.
