Rohini Acharya’s sudden ‘rejection’ of the Yadav family and quitting politics has intensified the drama in one of Bihar’s most influential families. Now Lalu Yadav’s three more daughters, Rajlaskhmi, Ragini and Chanda, have left the family’s home in Patna.

Rohini Acharya’s sudden ‘rejection’ of the Yadav family and quitting politics has intensified the drama in one of Bihar’s most influential families. Now Lalu Yadav’s three more daughters, Rajlaskhmi, Ragini and Chanda, have left the family’s home in Patna with their children and returned to Delhi.

According to reports, RJD chief Lalu Yadav’s three daughters became “distressed and restless” over the ongoing family drama and left his residence at Patna’s 10 Circular Road.

Lalu married Rabri Devi through an arranged marriage on 1 June 1973 and had nine children, seven daughters and two sons. Their children are Misa Bharti, Ragini Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav, Anushka Yadav, Chanda Yadav, Rohini Yadav, Raj Laxmi Yadav, Hema Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav.

Rohini Acharya rejected her family, quit politics

Lalu Prasad Yadav’s second eldest daughter Rohini Acharya on Saturday disowned her family, announcing that she had decided to quit politics, a day after the Rashtriya Janata Dal-led Mahagathbandhan faced an embarrassing loss in the Bihar election results in which the RJD managed to win only 25 seats.

Rohini announced on channel X: ‘I am quitting politics and rejecting my family… This is what Sanjay Yadav and Rameez wanted me to do… and I take full blame.’ He also made serious allegations in two emotional posts.

Tej Pratp Yadav and family expelled from RJD

Tej Pratap Yadav was expelled from RJD and his family by Lalu Yadav earlier this year after he publicized his relationship with a woman named Anuskha Yadav by posting photos that went viral on social media. However, he claimed that his account was hacked. Since then, Tej Pratap has remained politically active, declaring his own political alliance with five regional parties, including the Vikas Vanchit Insaan Party (VVIP). He contested from Janshakti Janata Dal (JJD)’s Mahua constituency but lost.
