MORNING GLORY: Defining vulgarity down

The Federal Communication Commission prohibits licenses from using air waves allocated by the Federal Government to publish obscene, inappropriate or abusive content.

It is easy to understand the rules. Lenny Bruce and George Carlin did a public service when they made a comedy Schtick, one of the generally accepted standards for the broadcast content. Every publisher in America draws the standards before the air.

In 35 years, I never complained about violating this rule. I don’t know any publisher who owns it. Because the rules are quite discreet about the language that is not only disturbed, but usually aimed at shocking. Before “clickbait”, “seven dirty words”, “clickbait” had pioneers.

Publication Prejudice: The fact that the NPR case against Trump is involved in the media hides what public media is actually

This column does not have a reader, but not all, but does not know some of the Trip wire terms. Similarly, there is no chosen authority to use a prohibited language in paid advertising in the field. Because they know it will not be cleaned for the broadcast. Many of them think that the use of an obscene, inappropriate or abusive language will not vote and will lose.

In addition, it is understood that most adults and certainly the majority of young people are routinely released if they are released by a licensee. However, in the past, which is not so far away, candidates never allow the language to slide their lips at a public activity or in most private environment.

That day now past.

This week, the governor of California Gavin Newsom – whatever you think about the policies, a talented communicator – release with “MOAP” – because the mother of all curses contains the word “mother”.

He says that California’s governor did it in a podcast and that he knows the rules, not open to the public. Podcaster, as the governor does, can be a calculated to the most popular podcaster to apply to Joe Rogan. It was definitely a conscious decision, not the “exciting expression” of the genre that turned it into court records. Federal rules of evidence provide a “exciting expression” as an exception to the evidence bar from the ear, and can be accepted to prove the truth of the expression.

And the governor Newsom is not almost alone. There are hardly any filters in public words of increasing number of public officials and public figures. The remaining very few filters, “I’m trying to impress with my comfortable swearing” is too disgusting to overcome the bar. Because they carry a real political price.

They don’t have a price for comic books and podcasts. Actually, the opposite. The daily use of the FCC’s forbidden fruit is actually a marking mechanism and serves both left and right -wing podcasts.

It would be a good thing to test the views of the people’s blasphemy, obscene or inappropriate speech for a surveyor or ten. Candidates and attention dependent seem to have concluded that the use of such terms does not have a disadvantage.

I guess there is still a cost, and the new approach affects the dead center of American politics, and is reluctant to socialize both blue and red America.

It is thought that “Crude” or “Victoria” is insulted by many people, but when applied to those who object to the rudeness of the country’s discourse, such appointments are praise.

If there is still any person who regrets most normal people, especially in the hearing distance of children, especially young children (including the capacity to remember every expression used by parents and relatives to young people, especially in the hearing distance of children.

For some reason, the people on the left side of the spectrum seem to have been convinced that the causal use of the forbidden before is now a plus. Suspicious. However, if there is only a few points, it would be useful to have evidence that there is no reverse and some disadvantages.
