The Philippine Volcanology and Seismology Institute confirmed the earthquake and made sure that no tsunami warning was given. The Pacific “Fire Ring”, which is part of the “Fire ring”, often experiences seismic activity.
Small earthquakes are usually not noticed, while stronger ones may be destructive and unpredictable. In particular, in July 2022, an earthquake of 7 magnitude triggered landslides and land cracks in Abra province, which caused 11 deaths and 609 injuries. Updates in the last earthquake are waiting.
