Kaylee Hottle: ‘Devastated’ Millie Bobby Brown leads tributes
Millie Bobby Brown is among the stars remembering the “talent” and “kindness” of US actress Kaylee Hottle, who died in a car crash at the age of 18.
Hottle was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Frederick, Maryland, on Tuesday morning.
The young actor, who is deaf, starred alongside Bobby Brown in the 2021 blockbuster Godzilla vs Kong.
Bobby Brown shared his sadness on his Instagram story along with a black and white photo of Hottle.
Captioning the photo, the Stranger Things star wrote: “So sorry to hear this.
“You will miss Kaylee so much.”
Hottle played a young orphan named Jia in the monster movie series, and reprized the role in the 2024 sequel Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.
British actress Rebecca Hall, who starred with Hottle in both films, paid tribute by sharing photos they took together on the set.
“My heart goes out to your family. You will be missed Kaylee,” Hall said.
Co-star and Mexican actress Eiza González said she was “absolutely heartbroken” as she posted a photo of them posing in costume.
“I am devastated. I adore you,” González wrote.
“I know you are a very sweet and kind daughter of heaven. We will miss you very much.”
Legendary Pictures, the production company behind the Godzilla films, described Hottle as a “valued member” of the production.
