Cybersecurity is every person’s responsibility, says Vijayawada DRM

Mohit Sonakiya, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Vijayawada, said that cyber security and awareness is not just a necessity but the responsibility of each person.

Participating in the concluding program of National Cyber ​​Security Awareness Month-2025 themed ‘Cyber ​​Jagrit Bharat’ on Monday, DRM said that secure digital practices implemented by officers and staff will strengthen the online platforms of Indian Railways.

“The month-long campaign on cybersecurity focused on raising awareness among railway employees about safe digital practices,” said Mr. Mohit Sonakiya. He also praised the Signal and Telecom (Information and Technology) Department for conducting various awareness programs and competitions on cyber security.

As part of the awareness campaign, quizzes, poster making and article writing competitions were organized for employees. DRM, along with Additional DRM (Operations) Srinivas Rao Konda and Senior Divisional Signal and Telecom Engineer P. Satish Shankar, presented awards to the winners at various events.
