In the video, Simon said: “Well Mark, imagine this. You’ve broken down. But once you’re in a safe location there’s a really quick and easy way to record the fault status.” Mark replied: “myRAC app.”
He replied: “That’s it.” Simon added: “It’s very easy and we’ve recently made it even easier for Motability Scheme customers to set up.” When Mark asked how to set this up, Simon explained that three steps were required. Mirror.
He said: “All you have to do is download the app. Just enter your email address. If you already have a Motability Scheme online account, the app will recognize it. You can then call us. Simply tap the recovery alert triangle icon to start reporting your fault. That’s it.”
Simon said I had no other steps; Just wait for help to arrive. “And then we’ll prioritize you, just like we would if you called,” he shared.
Finishing the conversation, Mark asked what other services people could access using the app. Simon replied: “You can find the cheapest places to fuel up and also get vehicle recommendations.”
Thanking Simon for the tip, Mark explained that the service would be very helpful to him. Simon replied: “No problem, Mark. Download it today. Then you’ll always have it at hand.”
Motability users should be aware that the service covers Scheme tools only. It does not cover other means by which you travel, as explained on the website.
