A huge fire broke out in Oldham and thick clouds of black smoke could be seen for miles. A “massive fire” is ongoing at a scrapyard on Moston Road in Chadderton.

Pictures circulating on social media show clouds of smoke rising over the nearby M60 motorway. People reported seeing smoke from as far away as Manchester city centre. Manchester Evening News.
