Bihar Exit Poll: Three exit polls (Matrize, People’s Insight and Peoples Pulse) predicted expansion of the ruling NDA. Exit polls predicted that Prashant Kishore’s Jan Suraaj, who is making his debut in the state assembly elections, may not win even a single seat. What about Tejashwi Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)?
RJD leader and Mahagathbandhan’s prime ministerial candidate Tejashwi Yadav expressed satisfaction with the ‘striking polling reports’ for the second phase of the elections. However, People’s Insight exit poll shows RJD may get 65-72 seats in Bihar Elections. The party may not reach the 122-seat majority on its own. In 2015 too, Rashtriya Janata Dal emerged as the largest party in the state with 80 seats.
