Multimillionaire creator of Call of Duty Vince Zampella is killed in car crash

Vince Zampella, creator of the Call of Duty video game, died in a car accident in Southern California.
Zampella, 55, was driving on a scenic road in the San Gabriel Mountains north of Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon when the vehicle he was in left the road and crashed into a concrete barrier, KNBC reported.
The driver, who was trapped in the car engulfed in flames, died at the scene. A passenger was thrown from the vehicle and died at a nearby hospital.
The circumstances surrounding the crash continue to be investigated. It is unclear at this time whether Zampella was the driver or passenger.
The multi-millionaire video game mogul co-founded Respawn Entertainment in 2010.
The studio, which was acquired by EA seven years later, is best known for its games Titanfall, Titanfall 2, Apex Legends and STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order.
This is breaking news.
