Multiple people stabbed, suspect shot in Crumpsall
The local members of the synagogue came together to celebrate Yom Kippur, also known as the day of penance and is considered the most sacred day of the year in Judaism.
In a video shared on social media after the attack, the police called on the audience to move back, while a suspicious synagogue was in the place. A police warned that the suspect was a bomb. The man on the ground was shot when he tried to get up.

He witnessed the events, BBC, the attack was approaching and a man was injured on the ground and the other tried to enter the building, he said he looked like a normal collision with a car.
“The man had a knife, and he was just stabbing the window trying to get into school, Garet Witness Gareth said, apparently referring to the synagogue.
“And then the police came in seconds, they gave him a few warnings, he did not listen, so they opened fire.

King Charles said shock in the attack.
“My wife and me, especially for the Jewish community, we were deeply shocked and upset to learn the terrible attack in Manchester on such an important day,” he said.
“Our thoughts and prayers, we appreciate the rapid actions of everyone who is affected by this terrible event and the emergency services.”
Mayor of Manchester Region, Andy Burnham, said that the danger was over after the incident in the north of the Manchester Center.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan said that police support will accelerate around the synagogues in the capital and talked to the Minister of Interior Shabana Mahmood about tight security.

Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer visited Copenhagen for a meeting with the leaders of the European Union and plans to have security talks in London and calls for what is known as the Cobra meeting to deal with an emergency. He said he had deployed more police on the synagogues.

Conservative Party Leader Kemi Badenoch said they deserve to know that the Jewish people are not alone.
“This was a vile and disgusting attack on a synagogue in Manchester,” he said.
“In Yom Kippur, the most sacred day of the Jewish year, the families gathered in prayer were the targets for violence. My heart goes to everyone who was hurt and affected. I know that many people in our Jewish community will be shaken. They deserve to know that they are not alone.”
Reform British leader Nigel Farage said he was terrified in the attack.
“I would like to thank the families and emergency services of my thoughts and prayers, the influences and the Jewish communities that will suffer right now,” he said.
