Mumbai Police Bust Alleged High-Profile Prostitution Racket, Rescue Two Actresses

Mumbai Police busted a high-profile prostitution racket allegedly operating from a hotel in Girgaon district, rescuing two actresses and arresting a suspected pimp during a raid.
According to the police, one of the rescued women was a lead actress in Marathi films and the other had acted in Bengali films and made guest appearances in Bollywood productions.
The suspect, who allegedly worked as a make-up artist with connections to many celebrities, was caught red-handed during the operation. Police suspect him of acting as a pimp and facilitating illegal activities.
Investigators are currently looking into the financial trail of the blackmail and questioning those involved. The role of hotel management is also being examined to determine whether its staff had knowledge of or involvement in the alleged prostitution network.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and more details are expected to emerge as the investigation progresses. No other arrests have been announced so far.
