Mumbai rains LIVE: IMD issues orange alert; rainfall intensity to reduce from August 21

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) released an orange heavy rain warning for Mumbai for August 20, and foresee that the rainfall in the metropolis would fall on Thursday, August 21, 2025.

IMD has released a red warning for Ghat sections of Raigad and Pune region for Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

According to IMD, Than, Palghar, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg regions will also be under orange warning for Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
