Naidu Thanks Murmu for Giving Assent to Bill Recognizing Amaravati as Capital

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu thanked President Droupadi Murmu for giving assent to the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization (Amendment) Bill, 2026, which recognizes the green-field city of Amaravati as the capital. The law was published in The Gazette of India after the president’s assent.
