Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a warm ceremony in Brasilia on Tuesday, and became the first Indian Prime Minister who made a state visit to Brazil in 57 years and strengthened the ties between the two countries. The visit points not only to the expansion of India on the diplomatic front, but also that India’s south-south loneliness is re-confirmed as a proactive builder.
Inclusive growth, critical mineral resource safety, climate flexibility and digital cooperation are India’s concerns about the global south. The visit is a sign of change in playing a global role in India, contrary to a reactive role based on mutual respect and common interest. Service is not a social assistance tour, but a more serious strategic inclination that must match the interests of developing economies in Indian foreign policy.
With the new geopolitical fault lines entering the picture, the Indian dream of a fair world order takes place in the form of long life and concrete partnerships. Soft power, at a time when strategic autonomy and shared flexibility generally characterize global leadership, this tour presents not only as one of the acting parties, but also as a core actor in creating the future of the global South.
During the visit, as part of their official participation, Prime Minister Modi and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva exchanged hot diplomatic courtesy at the Alvorada Palace, where they introduced delegates from their own countries. The meeting at the Alvoraada Palace came as a part of PM Modi’s state visit to Brazil and took over the BRICS summit in Rio de Janeiro on July 6-7 with the invitation of President Lula Da Silva.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi was provided with a great ceremony at the Alvorada Palace. President Lula da Silva received a warm embrace and arranged the tone of one -day significant diplomatic participation and symbolic gestures. At the reception of the ceremony, the delegates had official promotions by both leaders, underlining the spirit of cooperation and mutual respect between the two countries.
In addition to the magnificence of the ceremony, PM Modi was honored with the guard of 114 Beygir Onur. The national anthems of India and Brazil were played and Indian classical musical performance was also made as a part of meeting. Previously, after arriving at Brasilia airport, PM Modi was welcomed by Batala Mundo Group with traditional Afro-Brazilian compositions at the beginning of his visit.
“The Batala Mundo group played some wonderful compositions at the Brasilia airport at the Brasilia airport.
In order to greet the prime minister, there were flags and members of the Indian Diaspora who cheered at the airport. “The Indian community has recently descended to Brasilia. The Indian community has recently made an unforgettable welcome by emphasizing how passionate our diaspora was and how dependent they are.”
The cultural spirit continued at the hotel, where PM Modi was re -met by the Indian community and local artists. He witnessed a cultural performance and a spiritual presentation, interacted with artists and posed for a group of photographs with them. During the state visit, Prime Minister Modi is planned to have bilateral discussions with President Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva, who aims to strengthen the strategic partnership between India and Brazil. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, negotiations will cover a wide range of fields such as trade, defense, energy, field, technology, agriculture, health and human-human connections.
India also contributes to the re -positioning of global south as a group of assistance buyers, but to the joint authorship of global solutions as participants. The tour symbolizes that India is a bridge developer in the global south. Following the conclusion of his engagement in Brazil, PM Modi will go to Namibia, which is expected to appeal to the Namibian Parliament on July 9th. The Brazilian leg points to the fourth stop in his five-national round, which already leads him to Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, and will reflect Argentina-India’s increasing diplomatic social assistance in the global South.
